7 years ago I was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), a genetic disorder. I know wa,wa wa! With that came Hypertension. Taking 3 diffienrent meds for hypetension. Had a stroke on 8/17/2007. My 55th birthday was rapidly approaching & I didn't like the way I felt, what I saw in the mirror,& was tired of being a fat-skinny guy. So I entered the BFL 12 Week Challenge. Now I'm hooked 4 LIFE!
Why I Love It:
I feel great during and after each workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
By remembering how helpless I felt trapped in that hospital bed after my stroke. I'm a lefty, left arm was not usable and I couldn't write or feed myself for a about a week.
BB Accomplishments:
Still to come.

Today is day # 58 of my current BFL challenge. Still eating according to nutrition plan per Stevep78. Gotta admit, it is a monster challenge to eat 6 meals/day! Workouts have been killers!!!!
I wanted to say hello. I am getting the hang of thing. Putting up the exercise journal and tracking the food. I am finding that I am weak in the evening, but I am going to prevail....
I have to run but will get into this more later. PM me so I don't forget.
As far as the question, you need to eat and eat right, and yes cardio is imp for burning fat but having denser muscles also raises the metabloism to burn fat. I'm one that does not live to look good for shows and then let go till the next one...I want to look my best year round...and I believe it is healthier to do so! :)
Hi Tony! Thanks for the nice comments...how are you doing with your efforts? Let me know if you need any help! I'm routing for you! YOU can do anything once the MIND is set! :)
