How I Started:
Throughout my life I have been very active and done alot with weights here and there. Noone would support me and always said don't get to hard and to big so I was always getting held back~ kids, hubby,etc. I have been in in gymnastics for 3 years or so in high school and cheerleader 6 years and loved working with weights then after injury from something entirely non related I have just done some here and there. I joined the gym again to help a friend of mine to coach and support her and when I got back in I was like " Oh no, I am going to do what I want and do the training I want and I made a commitment to self to see it through. I do not know what is to come as I have been to shy to go to the big guys and say help me train but now I am on my way one way or another! I have 18 inch calves that i get complemented on alot and why will I let others fears hold ME back?
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of accomplishment and love the transition, and who does not like a tight bod and to know that you can handle your own and the sense of accomplishment is always a huge motivator as well as all those second glances @ at almost 40
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated because nothing is free and when you want things I am old enough to know that it takes massive hard work and well............I am on my way.keep thinking of the Big Picture fab @ 40!

Goal (Long):
I have been active all my life and always loved working out I want to obtain lots of lean muscle and lose fat. I want my arms to be bigger and more second looks, I want rock hard abs, and awesome legs full of muscle! I want to one day enter a fitness competition. Yes even @ 38! I want to lose 15 lbs of fat and gain 20 minimum in rock hard lean muscle!

Hey there! Good to hear from you - I was getting worried that you'd given up. Awesome news on the leg presses (makes my 150lbs seem so lame)... things are great here - getting stronger and seeing a lot of improvement in my arms and legs - now to get rid of that *&%#$ gut!!!! :D
I'm in the Muscletech Transformation Challenge. I've put an intense new workout routine in to help me prepare for it. If nothing else though, I just want to walk the beach shirtless...that hasn't happened in over 10 years.
