Overall Goal: To decimate all my opponents in the Team AARD "Get Big Or Die Trying" Competition.
I plan on winning by putting on both the most weight and size around my measurable body parts.
Fit Status:
Purslowe has not entered a Fit Status.
Ask Purslowe for an update.
Joined the gym with a friend of mine who was also pretty unhappy about his body shape.
Why I Love It:
It gives me something physical to do after a day of work. Sitting in front of a computer all day is surprisingly tiring and I feel energized having been to the gym and lifted some weights.
And also the whole getting muscles thing is fairly important for Pro Wrestling
How I Stay Motivated:
I look in the mirror and see the scrawny nerd staring back at me. That makes me want to get to the gym.
Mostly though I've come to enjoy working out (sometimes!).
BB Accomplishments:
I'm not doing this to compete or anything. Just to improve my physique.
So really my only achievement is the weight I've put on so far.
To decimate all my opponents in the Team AARD "Get Big Or Die Trying" Competition.
I plan on winning by putting on both the most weight and size around my measurable body parts.
Goal (Long):
I'm a lanky dude. I just really want to thicken out, and look a little more proportional.
My long term goal is probably 105kg's which shouldn't be too hard given my height, but I have genetics working against me a little. Once I hit 105 (eventually...?)I gess i'll try to maintain that weight while trying to reduce my bodyfat.
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
I'd like to think it's helped me focus on things I can do to improve my life. It's certainly made me happier to know I'm making a difference in my own life. I feel happier having been to the gym.

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
I'm not sure that it has yet. Although, I would probably feel pretty lethargic by the end of the week if I hadn't gotten off my arse and done something during the week!

Other than the obvious benefits (appearance, health, etc.), how has bodybuilding and fitness improved your overall life?
As I mentioned before, I do feel happier having been to the gym. And I like seeing the (small) changes I've managed to make to my physique. It's nice to feel in control.
I'm pretty Stoked with how this is going so far. I've only been at it for two months or so now and already I'm up almost 6kg's. Which is incredibly quick for me. Granted that some of that was size that I'd had before and subsequently lost, but still!
