Well I started competing in martial arts at a young age on my own my mother did not really support it but I won all city and a few other pretty decent size competitions and even she couldn't help but love to watch me.Last year (2008) I won a second round submission victory but I had never been so challenged in my life I realized I was not as physically strong as I thought I started lifting weights at a gym and found a good friend named Alan who is a very educated bodybuilder since then I am twice the athlete I have ever been.No bodybuilding is not my sport but in a way its my passion it really has helped me achieve the goals I have so long wished for so in a way it kind of is part of my sport
Why I Love It:
Because it is like nothing else in the world. When you train for a competition/bout everyone knows that the hardest part about any sport is training and bodybuilding has so many unorthadox styles of training to build strength and endurance in different ways that it has gone as far to become its own sport its honestly a science and has truly earned my respect as a sport.Bodybuilding has pushed me and my training regimen to a realm I have never seen before and it never gets easier
How I Stay Motivated:
Really I stay motivated to prove to myself I can be one of the best in the world but secondly and not least for the kids I teach I love teaching and if I never go professional as a fighter, then my dream is to teach under privileged kids.
BB Accomplishments:
My major Bodybuilding accomplishments are to get to compete in a slightly heavier weight class (170 pounds) because yes it is a more challenging class but if I don't experience the greatest challenges then I have not reached my goal

True victory is not exceeding the expectations others have but doing more than what you expected of yourself.
