I just finished some hills a few hours ago...only did 5.5 miles total. I averaged a 10 minute mile up and didn't measure the downs. That's amazing that the entire beginning is up!! I don't think I'd survive! Haha Good Luck this weekend!!!!!!!

Gotta love those hills! I'm gearing up for a hill run this weekend, actually. I'll let you know how much it kills my quads, haha. How are you??

OMG, don't even worry about it! I'm glad you wrote back to me, though! I totally agree that carb cycling is an amazing way to lose weight! I did it for a month cycling between 60 and 110 and saw really good results. I just have to get back to it. I'd love to do the 40-80-100 cycle but I'm afraid the 40 won't get me through my long run days. Also, you look awesome, girl!!!! You should be so proud of your weight loss success!!!!!

I'm running in the Buffalo 1/2 on May 24th. I figured out yesterday that it was time to change my sneakers when my ankles and knees were THROBBING after only mile 4. Do you think you'll do another Tri? I think I'll work my way to an ultra someday soon!

Haha, the bee costume was from Halloween. The pics are old--I put them up for before and after just to show progress. I recently took more progress pics but refuse to post them until I see better progress. :)

Hey, I just joined body space a few days ago actually. I started to really get into running last year--but fell off that wagon when the weather got cold in Buffalo. Now I'm starting up again for a marathon in May and trying to also fit in weight training as best I can so I don't lose too much during the training. Have you participated in a powerlifting contest before?
