After receiving my BS in exercise science, I knew I already had a lot of the knowledge required to take better care of my health and so I finally decided to put that knowledge into practice in order to take back control of my life

I tell myself that there is no other choice: I either meet my goals or not. I'm my only hope to get it done.
What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
If it's excessive then it might get annoying--but if you're legitimately working hard then GOOD FOR YOU!

What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
Sweats and a tank top or t-shirt. I just like to be comfortable without overheating. No need to impress anyone at the gym; not trying to pick anyone up...just the weights. harheeharhar
My workout was wonderful. Just amazing haha. i did arms. i cant seem to get the definition i want i them though its really pissing mee off but we will see what happens. how is that pink stretchy shirt going. looking like the sleeves are a touch to long haha. have a good one

I'm good. The hills are a killer aren't they? What pace do you hope to keep while going uphill? I have a 1/2 Mary this weekend and the first 8.5 miles is uphill...in fact you climb over 2K feet. My hope is to average 10/min miles for the uphill and have enough juice to average 7/min miles on the downhill. Of course, each time I run the full 13 I'm totally sore for a week after.
OMG! I am so sorry I didm't see the comment you left! Well, I have actually lost a good bit. I am carb cycling using David's method (see david630). Sean (a NPC bodybulding friend) said 40 carbs min a day then up to 80 and 100, then cycle back! It really has worked! Thank you soooo much for the compliment, bet you wouldn't believe in 04 I was 215 lbs!
OOOOOOH.. OUCH!! might wanna get 2 pairs and alternate.. you're gonna be putting some good miles on them :) .. i may do another sprint tri this season, but no long courses.. i just dont' have the time (or energy) to dedicate to it right now.

yea its a pretty hard work out plan im on i usually work out like 5 or 6 days a week, but its tough to do that now cause i just started my second job.... kind bad timing for my comp. but ill def keep u posted, i think ill either do great and get the records and win or just crash and burn lol. anyways just wondering why are u wearing a bee costume in ur pic?? :)
oo that really cool i used to run alot back when i was in track but not anymore haha all lifting basicly haha. good call trying to add weight training it will help burn fat and youll tone up nicly. and this is my first ever powerlifting contest for me, ill probably be nervous as hell when im there its only 19 days away!! if u want any tips or got questions about weight training feel free to ask me
