Goal (Long):
I began at age 46 with one set of 6 reps. Currently, I can do 3 sets of 20-25 with a max of 33 in Jan 2009. On 7-24-09, I did a set of 35 pull-ups and two more sets of 20. The same with dips and push-ups. Additionally, I am proficient with Push-Ups, Dips, Squats, Curls, Rows, Toe Raises, but I focus on Pull-Ups. The video attached was done in August 2008. I won that event at all age groups.

Hey Art, I was inspired by you & a few others to add pullups into my back workout about 4-5 wks ago. I don't have the desire to hit the #'s you're shooting for, but I did hit a PR of 23 in this morning's workout. Feel great about that. :)

I have a question about pull ups and was hopeing you could help me out. I am currently doing pullups 2-3 x/wk, 4 sets ea time. I do as many as I can ea. set (currtntly about 15/10/9/8). Is this the correct approach, or should I be doing something different? thanks, and have a great weekend.

Wow, Art. Lead us on to our sixties. Is that pullup bar the only equipment you use? Read your post in "Fringe Benefits" and expected a story about having a beautiful wife who looks 20 yrs your younger, and why you both are always smiling. haha, But that doesnt need an explanation.
