How I Started:
In 2007 I was sick of my fat self and lost lots of weight by eating healthier and exercising some. In 2008 I quit smoking so now I can kick my workouts up a notch.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy reaching new goals. Right now I'm into more cardio because I have a little more weight to lose. I want to run a 10K race and possibly a 1/2 marathon in 2009. I have begun some lifting and enjoy being sore afterwards :)
How I Stay Motivated:
Monitoring progress towards my goals and feeling better about myself.

Hey Chris, how's everything? Doesn't sound too good w/ the knee, hope it gets straightened out for you. Nothing much new here, just about done w/ the cutting, getting close to where I want to be. Anyhow, take it easy, and have a great day.

W/O's are going well. I've cut back on the carbs to help with losing weight, and therefore, my weight lifting is suffering (no carbs=no energy)I'm determined to loose the love handles though. So far, I've lost 9 lbs, so I'm happy with the progress. Good luck with the half marathon. I think the most I ever did (in High School) was about 12 mi. non-stop. Have a great weekend.
Wow! Business in Ireland can't be all bad. :) Good on the 10K. I'm hoping for half that in the near future. My training is going well. I figure I don't lose weight, but my body keeps changig so I can't complain.
