I suppose it was when I seen a few of my friends going to the gym more seriously for rugby.
Why I Love It:
I love the satisfaction of lifting a weight that you thought you couldn't or when you look in the mirror and see progress in that sense. The dedication, determination and discipline that goes with reaching goals can be applied to other areas of your life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing I can always be better!

It wasn't until I took this photo that I REALLY realised I wanted/needed to change.
Over the last few years I've been an on/off member of several gyms, but I was just that, a member, I never really took it seriously, even though I wanted to. Well at least I thought I wanted to, when I really think about it, I didn't give a shit. Now I'm focused, well read, I've got the determination to start taking my goals seriously. I suppose I matured.
I want to significantly increase my muscle mass while lowering my body fat. I don't expect a quick miracle, I'm prepared to work long and hard for it.
Thanks for asking everything looks normal just not able to train chest for about 3 more weeks. Did seated military presses for shoulders on Mon. 1st since Nov. felt really good sets of 15 with 185. A little nervous but it appears that all is good no pan or bruising. I know I'm sore for the 1st time since the injury.
Things are going well :) Finally squatted 265x2 and then 275x1, which is what I was at before the xmas breaks diet and laziness dropped me back a bit. Chasing that third plate on deads too, but getting close. 290x1 felt really easy, so I'll try 295 or 300 next time I'm doing my 1rm for deads. Hows it going with you?
Aw, thanks! I'm hoping to look better pretty soon! :-) Your pics are looking great! You have a model body type of physique. I wish you all the best in reaching your goals!
well im back at school so going to the gym seems to be easier lol. and ive been working on the whole nutrition thing as well and its coming together for me lol.
hey bud. it's cool you added me haha i'm always happy to meet new people here. you're right, we have similar bodyfat percentages. thanks for the compliments as well, keep up the hard work and keep gainin man
Thanks man :) I lost around 90 pounds from my peak to my lowest weight. I went from 160lbs January of 07 to 210 by the middle of August. I didnt like being that heavy, even though my BF% wasnt too bad. I cut to find a more comfortable weight, and I dont really plan to gain too much from here. I want to keep working at improving my body without really adding too much weight.
So, yes I want to gain muscle, but I dont want to end up at 200lbs again.
