It's hard to believe, but I used to be really skinny as a teenager and I used to get beaten up at school. Our school had a gym, so at the age of 15, I started trying out weight training.
Why I Love It:
I like the challenge of improving my lifts every session, especially bench press. When I'm doing upper body, I feel really buzzed by how strong it makes me feel. Also, I like the metamorphosis it's putting my body through. Ultimately, I like the fact that it will enable me to get buff.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at pictures of myself when I was 330 pounds (150 Kg) and over 50% body fat.

Scott, sorry it took so long to get back to you, I've been off my weight training for a bit (tennis elbow), but hopefully I'm back :) I just got a chance to look at that website you left for me... HEY SCOTT GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU, IVE BEEN BUSY HAVENT HAD MUCH TIME ON HERE THE PAST FEW DAYS....GAINING 130LBS IN 2 YEARS WELL DONT KNOW ABOUT THE BLESSING PART...LOL..BUT I DO KNOW ABOUT THE LARD PART...YOU KNOW AT 48 ITS NOT AS EASY AS IT ONCE WAS HAVING A REAL HARD TIME WITH MY DIET IM ON THE RUN ALOT SO I EAT ALOT OF CRAP AND EAT ALOT AT NIGHT...WISH I COULD SOMETHING TO HELP CONTROL MY APPETITE..WELL KEEP IN TOUCH.....BIG DOG
