How I Started:
No real story about how I started. I used to do it a lot in my teens and early 20's but for various reasons and a shoulder and elbow injury stopped and never started back up till now. About 2 months ago I went to the Doctor's office because I was sick and when they weighed me I came in at 360 lbs. I when home and my wife who had started working out a little before then said I should work out with here and was a great motivation for me. So I decided to start spinning on our recumbent and using our treadmill. I was so close to being 400 lbs. it scared me and there was no way in hell I was going to weigh in at that much EVER again. I have dropped to 345 lbs. since I began 2 months ago. Once I found this website my motivation shot through the roof because now I have seen others who were close to what I looked like and they have made outstanding improvements in their bodies and I wanted the same. So I am going for it.

I love the feeling of accomplishment when I finish a workout.

Sounds good. Remember this is life long so don't rush, and remember to take care of yourself. I've been hitting it hard since Jan. I have changed up my routine a little to keep from over training.

Good Job Dude! Keep it up! Which kind of body fat measurement device have you decided on? At this point, changes in your bf% may be more significant than weight changes on the scale. You are probably doing even better than you think!
