How I Started:
No real story about how I started. I used to do it a lot in my teens and early 20's but for various reasons and a shoulder and elbow injury stopped and never started back up till now. About 2 months ago I went to the Doctor's office because I was sick and when they weighed me I came in at 360 lbs. I when home and my wife who had started working out a little before then said I should work out with here and was a great motivation for me. So I decided to start spinning on our recumbent and using our treadmill. I was so close to being 400 lbs. it scared me and there was no way in hell I was going to weigh in at that much EVER again. I have dropped to 345 lbs. since I began 2 months ago. Once I found this website my motivation shot through the roof because now I have seen others who were close to what I looked like and they have made outstanding improvements in their bodies and I wanted the same. So I am going for it.

Had physical today, officially weighed in at 327lbs, down 33lbs from 360lbs 5 months ago. Real excited about that. Talked to DR about my episode two weeks ago when I got dizzy and was having chest pain during my workout. He said that my blood sugar probably just dropped too much during...
Sounds good. Remember this is life long so don't rush, and remember to take care of yourself. I've been hitting it hard since Jan. I have changed up my routine a little to keep from over training.
Hey Joe, good to see that you are making progress despite the camping interludes. I am confident that you will continue to have success week after week. Take Care...
I've lost 57 lbs since May 1st. If you are serious about weight loss send me a private message. There is hope for us big guys. Was 283 on May 1st and was 226 when I woke up this morning!
Good Job Dude! Keep it up!
Which kind of body fat measurement device have you decided on? At this point, changes in your bf% may be more significant than weight changes on the scale. You are probably doing even better than you think!
The real question is not do you see progress in the photos (too short an interval) but do you FEEL better?
I'll bet you feel better about yourself and moving around is easier.
