When I Started:
Apr, 2006
How I Started:
I've always been training on and off since i was 13. My father gave me a set of dumbbells as a present that were older than Noah's Ark! They didnt hold me for long so i soon took over his multi-gym too lol.
Upon reaching 21 i became 100% serious and reached a good peak of 245lbs but life throws you through loops and i ended up quitting bodybuilding as a result.
I took up martial arts and boxing and ended up wittling down to a small 168lbs.
After quitting martial arts and boxing i became bit by the training bug again!
Now training hard, i'm aiming to compete in 2009
Why I Love It:
There is no perfection, end game or finish line...
How I Stay Motivated:
Thinking how i weighed 245lbs and wittled down to 168lbs by being lazy... that'll do wonders... trust me
BB Accomplishments:
400lbs squat for reps

Dont over complicate things which should be relatively simple... stick to the ABC's of bodybuilding.
When you start using your calculator and stressing over the latest internet study you know you've gone to far...
I'll meet you in the gym... today is leg day
I used to be 245lbs years ago and i want to get back there again.
I want to have a good lump or mass to chip away at come contest time in 2009 (not decided on what comp yet) but i want to blow people away with my conditioning.

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Rotorcuff in my right shoulder took a bit of a beating.
It took a few years to properly heal up 100%, now and again it flares up again...usually when i sleep with my hand under my head

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
I don't look up to celebrities, why try and obtain what someone else has? Beat your own path....
thanks for your comment but you could have given an explanation. but then again Ive live twice as long as you have been alive so I must forgive. there's a hella lot you don't know or havent witnessed that goes on in the bodybuilding world.
Wow! The transformation of those shoulders and arms (shown in the progress pics) is truly impressive. Good to see another Brit on the website - particularly one that inspires me to keep training!!
