When I Started:
Sep, 2008
How I Started:
In 2000 i moved from Belgium to Canada. I was in a great shape, did sport and worked out, but it all faded away...including my good shape and condition. Other things became more important to me. The thought of me throwing it all away always stayed with me but it was my dad's condition that made me really think about what i'm doing..finally i made the turnaround and decided to become even better than i ever was before.
Why I Love It:
It is an everyday competition with yourself.
How I Stay Motivated:
The results and because i know that my parents want me to be healthy and in a good shape.

Poesmanchanged Weight from 227.6 lbs. to 227 lbs., a 0.6 lb. loss in 7 days
Friday we start "The Biggest Looser" at the gym, a perfect time for me to loose some weight and bodyfat. I work out every day and push every workout to and beyond the limits. Current weight is 245.9lbs and my protein intake is 1g per pound of bodyweight. So far i didnt mix any cardio...
well after a while you will hit a plateau but as long as you keep a good diet and keep doing your cardio and weights, the weight should start coming off more and more...How is your weekend going so far?
Good for you...I know losing weight is a killer!! Me too...I love the sunshine...cold makes me feel lazy. :(
If you figure out how to make your own sun, etc...I will pay you to share that with me. ;)
Good for you! It is very hard to completely change your lifestyle.
I'm doing ok...wish the pounds would drop a little faster, but trying to be patient and just maintain consistency in the eating/working out department.
It will all come together in due time.
Keep up the good work. Have a great workout!!
Nope, I'll be staying home... I'm National Guard, and it's the end of my tour. I will be in the Guard for another ten to fifteen years so I will likely get deployed again, but probably not over the next three years...
HHHHeeeeYYY! Fantastic Job! If you can get 5 to 6 small meals in it'll help you metabilism speed up! Are you doing medium weight & 10 to 15 reps with your lifting???
That's great that you're making progress... I know what you're saying about the cold. It's -5 here at Camp Atterbury, and that's without the wind chill... I'll be braving the cold to walk to the gym in about an hour. Other than that, I'll finally be with my family tomorrow... I can't wait...
I don't think that I'll hit 350 that soon, my target is the end of March and I want to make sure I don't injure myself. I think that's a good choice to focus on cardio to help lose the weight. Have you looked at your diet?
