Totally agree with your comments about strength and calories. I just focus on consistently moving more weight/reps, getting through enough sets, and consuming enough calories/protein. I try to keep my training as simple as possible.
Hi PoW, good to see you around. I don't bother updating stats on here but I've made solid progress over the past 6-9 months on everything. Still training upper/lower 3-4x a week. How about you?
hey
yea i know i read all that but then like the next week should i like add wat 10 or so more lbs or 20?? or wat??? i will keep u informed on how much i do every singal day...
wsup brother? damn bro i cant wait to see brock lesnar in k1 this saturday!! have u seen any of his latest pictures? hes freaking lean now! if u want i can send u the links
It gets tough because beyond a certain point every 5lbs feels like 20+. The old law of diminishing returns, kind of like with cars where it takes ridiculous money to go from 11's to 10's over the 1/4 mile even though it's only one second.
Going from reps in the 300's to maxing at around 550 didn't take long, whereas everything beyond that has been at a crawl.
cool. I know a lot of the regular gym rats there...Michael Moody, Harley Ryder, Chris Bordelon, Chris Juneau, John Blaine....
anyway, best of luck bro!
you train at Don's? i've trained there on and off since '97...on when i've lived in the area and off when i haven't....though my folks moved away from Pineville, so i don't know if i will ever go back to A-town. great gym, though. Mr. Don is awesome.
