Occupation:
Personal Trainer

When I Started:
Apr, 2006
How I Started:
Lost 77kg and was left with no muscle tone and ugly skin. Started weight training to fill out my body.
Why I Love It:
The principle of lifting weights and providing your body with proper nutrition to grow bigger muscles fascinates me. I love pumping iron and trying to better myself. There isn't many people out there who have the desire, the committment, the discipline and the dedication to succeed in building their body. I respect anyone and everyone who has an interest in bodybuilding.
How I Stay Motivated:
My career goal is to become a successful personal trainer. I want to teach people not to make the same mistakes I did and help them achieve a body they can be proud of. Which guy doesn't want to be huge and ripped? All those shallow people who gave me **** for being overweight won't know what hit them when they see me when i'm done. What a way to stay motivated!
BB Accomplishments:
Lost 77kg and since gained around 20kg of LBM

This was the old Mark Brown, back in March 2005. Days later I decided to take control of my life and prove everybody who had ever doubted me wrong and change my life.
This is the most recent photo of myself during my cutting cycle. Not quite as lean as I wanted to get but need way more mass before cutting any lower. Bring on the bulk in 2 weeks!

My reps are always between 5-7. I stick between this range because all the bullshit aside, heavy weight builds muscle. People with superior genetics can use any rep range and still build muscle but fo...more

All good bro! For strength training, this is the principle I use: sets: 6, 6, 4 (these are your rep maxes, as in you can’t do more than that required number), speed: medium-fast (Basically half a second going up and down). Also I suggest your bench press 3x a week at the beginning of your training, leaving 2 days rest in between training days. E.g. Tue, Thur and Sat. Hope that helps! Keep pumpin champ!

Thanks man! My off-season ends on march, where I’m strength training and on an average diet! I’m just relaxing for now, aye! I’m trying to increase my strength by 20 Kgs by March! Like the old saying, “the bigger the weight, the bigger the muscle”, that’s what I’m aiming for, life’s too short to be small! Keep pumpin champ!
