When I Started:
Sep, 2005
How I Started:
I had an amazing trainer who taught me physical strength that he knew would lead to me regaining my mental strength! I didn't get it at the time but 2 years later, I see we met for a reason!
Why I Love It:
I had tons of injuries from a car accident (broken ribs/ fractured pelvis/ punctured lung, to name a few) and had to have muscle and nerve removed from my leg due to a low grade form of cancer twice! I'm not planning on a third and if it comes I plan on being as strong as I can be! Everything use to hurt and then I made the surrounding muscles stronger and eased the pain. Now when it hurts I push harder knowing tomorrow the pain will mean nothing!
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing after a workout I will have mental clarity. Feeling like I've survived so much that nothing can really hold me down unless I let it.
BB Accomplishments:
Increasing leg press weight and doing lunges.... seems simple but extremely painful with about 10inches of muscle missing, sprinting and breathing better!

Workout Program:
I'm playing with it! Mix Up the machines. I go heavy and then light depending on my mood and well the way my body is feeling! I definitely prefer free weights whenever possible so I can get a good idea of weaknesses in between the left and right side of my body.
my pleasure ;)
