Background

When I Started: Mar 2009
HOW I STARTED:

I've always been the skinny fat guy. Slender and hardly any muscle. I started working for Bodybuilding.com and decided that I would try a transformation program. The first year I just started working out here and there but never committed myself. In 2011 I completed and 12 week program and was hooked. I bulked over the summer and lifted heavy to help pack on muscle. Now I'm cutting for a 12 week 2012 transformation. Feels great!

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love being strong and looking good. It also gives me a ton of energy and keeps me feeling good. I also love the discipline of it. It make my mind stronger along with my body.

Transformation 2012

Well this is my first post for the new year.  I'm starting a 12 week transformation to cut body fat to see what I have underneath all this giggly love.


I will be following the 12 Week Gethin Trainer


This training series is a daily trainer with videos, nutrition and supplement plan.  It's a great one to follow if you want to cut the fat and build some bulk at the same time.


I started January 2nd 2012 and will be rockin this for the next 12 weeks.


My workout partner & BodySpace friends will be keeping me accountable

Transformation 2011 Completed!

My 12 week transformation is over!!  I lost 16lbs and put on lean muscle mass at the same time.  My goal for this transformation was to build muscle and I definitely did that.  Losing some extra flab was a bonus!



The overall experience of the transformation was great.  I really enjoyed working out consistently and learning what my body was capable of.  Pushing myself in the gym was challenging and painful sometimes but the...

redkop1 Good to see your making progress on cutting. I;m happy with the progress i've made over the months. My weight up & so is my bf,bf from 10.98% to 17.98% don't want it going any higher then 18%. I train 5 days a week with weights & 1 day spin class. When start to cut in April will do 5 days weights & 2 days HIIT. Training arms tonight.... Feb 13, 2012 2:20pm

jillm7a It is a form of HIIT. You perform four moves (eg: mountain climbers jumping jacks, high knees, burpees) for 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off then repeat the circuit as many times as you would like, as many circuits as you want. Jan 26, 2012 9:11am
