My fitness goal is to lose 27 pounds of fat within one year and to bench 200 pounds by June 2010.
Goal (Long):
I officially started this on July 1, 09. Previously my weight lifting was to aid other sports such as triathlons, basketball and running. However as my weight has increased and my mid section looks like a beer keg, I decided ENOUGH.
I am inspired byt this man 5 years my jr. I see so many men our age who seem to have given up on life. We may have to take extra supplements but where there is a will there is a way, and he found the way, so will I!
Headed into week 2 I realize that I may well have overestimated my capabilities regarding the bench, and therefore started too high. The 130 5x5 nearly kicked my tail and I am sure I will have to drop a few pounds and work my way back up. Sooner rather than later. Oh well it all goes...
