How I Started:
First, I just wanted to lose weight and look good...then I started reading and researching about exercising. All I wanted was to lose weight, so I paid no attention to nutrition. However, the more I got into working out, I discovered healthy eating and I'm hooked!
One time I was down to 110lbs, but due to loss of my best friend, I was depressed and gained back 30lbs...30!
I've been on and off, and am sick of that roller coaster ride and myself.
I used to want to just lose weight but now I actually want to be lean and gain some muscles!
Why I Love It:
Working hard toward something is painful but fun because you feel it in your body and you can really see the result.
How I Stay Motivated:
Nothing beats the post-run feeling! It's awesome and I love feeling it.
Lifting makes me feel that I'm working hard, pushing myself to my limit. That makes me proud of myself.
the results; clean eating and weigt training can really change your body!

Goal (Long):
In a long term, I've been working out for more than 2 years now. However, there have been periods of weeks or months I would skip or stop working out. Because of that, I haven't been able to reach any of my short-term goals.
I also give in to my craving and eat....A LOT.
As a result, I have a so-so body...well, less than so-so. SO I WANT TO CHANGE!!
I want to stick to my plan and achieve my goals.
and of course, I want to be able to run faster and longer! 26.2 mi/3h30min range is this year's goal. Also wanna try triathlon.

Where's the marathon?
I'm taking it easy-light weights per doctor oders right now. I'm adding more reps though. I've gained about 5lbs and trying to keep it there.
Good luck in the marathon! I may run another one someday-if my knees allow LOL
