How I Started:
Athletics. But now it's a way of life. You can't stop, the feeling is almost euphoric when you can look in the mirror and see what you created.
Why I Love It:
In the gym it's just you and the weights. No more bullshit.
How I Stay Motivated:
There is always someone better than you. Never settle. Push yourself when you're in the gym. But mostly, just have fun. Enjoy that you are helping your body and mind.
Every two weeks I change it up. Circuit training, straight sets, antagonist sets, 5x5, heavy/fast or light/slow, etc. I like to change it up every two weeks to keep my body guessing and keep me motivated. It is more fun this way.

Well, it depends on your scholastic background and expertise. Dietetics is not just a major in Food and Nutrition--there is a lot of science; lots of Chemistry and some Biology courses to take. In my program there are so many chem courses that I am just going to get a Chemistry minor because I would only be 1 or 2 courses away, a waste not to go for it :o)

Virginia is actually the state I teach in (commute). Pay is decent.. benefits are good! Definitely worth looking in to. We have several teachers from NY at our school.
Lol, well I am glad they are working for ya! I am changing it up for the next month because I think I got used to the work-out. I am going to attempt to do 45-60 min of cardio in the morning and weights at night, since everyone seems to say to do cardio 1st thing in the morning on an empty stomach! :-)
