When I Started:
Jun, 2002
How I Started:
I decided to start turning my life around when I was 14. I was 216lbs, with no excuse but laziness. I started dieting strictly, with aid from Xenadrine RFA-1, and eventually dropped to 124lbs. Since then, I've been pushing myself to gain the weight back without adding any fat.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because its the only thing I have in my life where I feel a sense of accomplishment. Just the atmosphere of the gym, and the pump I get makes me genuinely happy.
How I Stay Motivated:
I become progressively more motivated as I go; I won't be proud of myself until I personally think my body is perfect, and I know I'm a long way from it.
BB Accomplishments:
(At 5'11" and 165lbs)
Bench press- 285lbs
Squat- 575lbs
Seated dumbbell curl- 65lb per hand

not a full body pic, but I think it shows just how small I was when I started out. excuse the acne; i was 15.
trying to gain weight in these pics... up to about 190
Someday, I'd love to have the perfect bodybuilder's body, but I'm realistic. My goal for now is to just look good naked.
Goal (Long):
-I want to drop under 5% body fat
-I want to break 200lbs
-After that, I want to break 240lbs
-I want to be able to bench triple my weight
-I want to feel good about myself.
It's been a while since people could tell I had a disorder just by looking at me... at one point I had dropped to 124lbs (a weight loss of 89lbs). I had balanced myself out for a while at about 165 and was basically ok with how I looked, but since I've been trying to get bigger, I've been...
damn you really want to go big man thats awesome, see my goal right now is be about 185 or 195 kinda where im at now but just be bulky muscle with about 5 percent body fat, But honestly right now i think my best bet would eb to get as hudge as possible while i still am at the optimal age for it since im 18, it'll probably help with my skin problem if i bulk up to, hows your diet looking man
Yea i figured i would need to bulk up a lot to fill in what i have right now, kinda sucks but i guess its doable, i just dont want to take surgery as an option, thats a lot of weight for you to drop to man its looking good are you going to try and get bigger or just want to stay defined
The secret is, as long as you look like you know what you are doing, people will think you sound great, hahaha, so just let go and play whatever :)
I play alto mostly (sop and tenor sometimes too).
lol that's crazy! if 5 years doesn't fix your loose skin, do you think waiting longer would work? do you know other people who've solved the problem without surgery? have to say, man, this is the first time i've encountered a guy who used to be anorexic. at the peak of my weight loss i had a similar negative take on food, but i wasn't really extreme.
when i touch my loose skin i feel like there's still some fat (or empty fat sacs?) in there! wait, so you lost weight 5 years ago and you're still paranoid about bulking? i'm in the same boat, man. i'm really wary of upping my calories, and maybe it's a bad thing because it's keeping me from gaining muscle faster, not sure. have you ever thought of having surgery?
