Overall Goal: I cut close to 30lbs in a month and a half. I have stopped bodybuilding, and I am currently training in MMA. I was 230 at my peak of bb'ing and now I am 185lbs. I want to increase strength/power at this weight and lean out
Fit Status:
Got in amaziing shape this summer, then go injured...got majorly depressed, lost motivation, but now I ready for a comeback..time for Round2
In highschool I hardly lifted weights, but did losts of running, cardio, and played basketball for my school. I lifted once in while but didnt know what the hell I was doing, but did pushups and situps a lot. I was skinny like 150lbs. I probably was doing more of what I should not of than working out and playing ball seriously and almost lost chances of a college scholarship. In my sophmore year in college, I still wasnt lifting weights and received a near fatal back injury at work. I thank GOD for saving my life. I didnt rehab seriously and was depressed from the injury. I was just chillin with the wrong crowd and smoking and drinking my life away, until one day I realized I have to do something with my life. A year after my injury I started to workout. After throwing away my oppurtunity to play ball and years of hangin with bad elements doing negative things I realized it was time for a life reversal.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it makes me feel good, I look better, and I am stronger. I love the pump and the fact you can mold your body into a piece of artwork. I motivates me to stay focused on school and keeps me away from drinking and smoking and bad elements in general. And how can I forget for da ladies too, always makes me feel good when I look more muscular than the average emo ****head.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by thinking of my injury and that I could of died and all the mistakes I made in the past I have to make up for. The movie Pumping Iron and Arnold S really motivate me. Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Kevin Levrone, and all the countless other greats are my heroes.
BB Accomplishments:
Personal accomplishment is just being alive in general, cause I weighed 2 lbs when born and doctors said i would not live. All the other trials and tribulations in my life that I have overcome.
No bb accomplishments, I just train. So far all natural lifter, but maybe that will change in the next 2 years For right now I'm just gonna read and research and think about my plans. I want to reach a 235lbs naturally for now and then will think if I want to get hardcore.
Forum Signature:
With the increase in cardio and boxing/mma training I am staying at 175-185lbs compared to 215-230lbs. Will post recent pics soon. Since I will not fight until 6 months from now I will gain some muscle weight and worry about cutting weight later.

I have and for those of thinking about ph's/aas to be honest, if I could do this much in a year anyone c ...

You are a perfect example of dedication and determination and are a great inspiration for others at a time when it's needed most. I wish you nothing but success. Remember: "Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, ?others, like you, make it happen."
