Off running again. I re-injured my foot. Still lifting. Will watch my daughter run a leg of the marathon on Sunday.

Background
My husband had been diagnoised with RA. He had done research and learned that weightbearing exersice was a good thing to do. He came home with Bill Phillips BFL book. Sitting there, putting loads of butter on my French Bread, I took a look at it. Somthing clicked and I asked him if I could join him in working out. I have not stopped working out since.
I was never an athelete in school. I was very shy and would not go out for anything. I was always thin and active. So, weight lifting brought out something in me that I did not know I had. I love the feel of the burn and knowing I am being good to my body. I was given a healthy body, I feel obligated to treat it well.

Posted in Training : Nov 14, 2011 3:38amI have been doing Jamie Eason's Live Fit workout program for almost 12 weeks. I believe it to be a very good program. It has challanged me and kept my interest because there are new exercises introduced frequently. The 3rd Phase is difficult and not for the faint of heart. I like that. I don't do easy in my life. If it not a challange I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. Life is not suppose to be easy. However, having said that I also realize that there is a difference between challanging myself and over training and de-railing workouts comp

I have had too many tests to mention. I have gone to 4 different doctors. Finally I was told I have IBS. What that suggests is that they don't know what is wrong with me.
