I went into a gym to get back in shape after having children.
I was asked often if I competed, and had no idea what they were referring to. I asked the gym owner what they meant and he commented that I had great genetics for competitive bodybuilding. I entered my first contest the following August and won!
The rest is history!
Why I Love It:
I love being in control of how I look and feel. Having the information on what it takes to be healthy allows me to live life, focus on other aspects, and do the things I need to do to stay healthy along the way.
How I Stay Motivated:
I love being able to inspire others. That motivates me more than anything else!

2010 Competition Season, Masters Figure Division, my goal is to become one of the first IFBB Masters Figure Pros!!
Goal (Long):
I've been focusing on reshaping my body a bit this past few months, so my weight is a bit up, but I am happy with the harder, leaner looking legs that I'm getting from cycling class. Time to start dieting down and get a look at the progress that's been hidden!
I have 15-20 lbs to lose, but I have about 15 weeks to do it in, so that's completely within reach. Now, let the fun begin!
Nicole inspires me because she has learned so much about hard work and discipline at such a young age! She is my personal trainer, and I am honored to have her assist me in preparing for the 2010 competition season! THIS time, we have the young teaching the more 'mature'....how cool is THAT? And LOOK OUT, Masters Figure division! Here I come!
I'm so excited! When I went to Venice Beach for the Muscle Beach Classic on Memorial Day weekend, I had the opportunity to shoot with Ian Sitren, Second Focus (http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/Secon dFocus/)! As a result of that shoot, I am featured in the Ironman Magazine this month! ...
