How I Started:
I wanted to stop smoking but didn't want to gain any weight. So I started working out.(no weights yet)After a month or so I quit smoking. On 5-26-2008 it will be 6 months. Yaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is a new day. I lost my way a while back. I think I ate what ever was put in front of me. I now have extra weight to lose. On Jan. 5th I started to work on me again. I was up to 206 the heaviest I have ever been. I am now down to 191 and feeling a little better. Every time I want to stop I just think about how heavy I had gotten and that keep me going.
Why I Love It:
Lifting makes me feel great. Working out make me feel strong.
How I Stay Motivated:
Hubby and new friend on here :-) I also found this site http://www.citypaper.net/articles/2006-08-03/naked.shtml Very Motivating

It would not only be a pleasure to have you as a friend but I would consider it an honor. I thank you for taking the time to read my story and for showing it to your husband. I find that my wife is a great workout partner but also a super motivator especially in getting me to push as hard as I can while in the gym. Keep up the great work.

My wife and I have both achieved body transformations by following the Body for Life program. We know where you are coming from and feel that you can also make your fitness goals & dreams come true. I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat and my wife (bodyspace name: judimax) went from size 12/14 to 4/6 in only 12 weeks by utilizing the BFL program. Challenge yourself, and try to push a little harder each and every workout. We are here for you if you wish to talk.

Hi there! Have you heard about the Body for Life program? Its a great way to get started and thats how i got started! The only supplements you need for that are like protein powder, maybe some protein bars (emergencies), l-glutamine, multi vitamin and thats about it. check out these websites: www.bodyforlife.com www.bod yforlife-tracker.com You can find a good deal on a used book on Ebay or Amazon.
