How I Started:
I have been into weights since my mid teens but have not been going crazy with it until the late 90's. The last few months the gym has been my second home.
Why I Love It:
I like the way my body feels when my muscles are sore and developing. My health has improved so much. I have depression so lifting and aerobics can really boost my mood. It's fun to listen to what my body is telling me and developing more of a kinesthetic sense. Intuitiveness. Instinctiveness.
How I Stay Motivated:
Some days I just do not want to go but I will anyway because I know how good it will feel afterward. Even if I go and not push hard it will feel better than being lazy.
BB Accomplishments:
It is all about how good I feel being in my own skin.

Gain Muscle
Goal (Overall):
My goal is to continue to gain muscle mass while reducing body fat.
Goal (Long):
The main thing for me to do is have a balanced body. That means I have to work on problem areas like my back. Not having balance is just asking for trouble. The other issue is to work on building endurance through running, biking, climbing, aerobics and other fun activities. This has become more important as I age and my metabolism sinks.

I want to LOSE 5 lb

I have dropped a lot of weight lately. Yesterday it was 168 lbs.

A lot more coffee and activity during the day, not overeating, and supplementing with CLA has helped out a lot.
