I have been interested in making my body stronger/faster for many years, but I never had the motivation to continue. One day it just clicked and I haven't stopped.
Why I Love It:
Asides from helping me drop over 120lbs of fat, it has afforded me new life. I live for the next workout, the next clean meal, the next time I jump on the scale and see positive change.
How I Stay Motivated:
Pumps, weight changes, keeping track of my progress and seeing someone new in the mirror every day.
BB Accomplishments:
In February of 2007 I weighed over 280lbs and very high body fat. I could give reasons as to why I gained 70lbs of fat in 5 months, but instead I realized what was happening to me and I went to the gym to correct it. Over the course of 13 months I lost nearly 100lbs and exploded in aerobic endurance and muscle tone. I am back to my U.S. Marine weight and I am now addicted to bodybuilding.

Never thought I'd meet anyone on here from Rome, NY. I spent two summers up there at the Capitol Theatre in the 90's when I was acting. Worked out at a little musclehead gym on the main drag in town. Can't remember the name. Nice progress bro, esp the quads. Keep on hulkin'.
great progress man. you've got great bac definition and killer guns. your story is incredible. you can't be far from your goal man. I've got a similar story, just haven't gotten to your weight yet. It's hard freakin work but so worth it when you see the results. keep hitting it hard brother--you're an inspiration.
