When I Started:
Jan, 2009
How I Started:
I was thinking about lifting to get stronger and look better for a while. Back in April 2008, I met someone who is a great friend now and bodybuilder. He started me off by giving me a workout to do and i loved it. I say i started in January of this year because it was then that i started really taking working out and bulking up seriously
Why I Love It:
I want to look good. Also, I don't care much for team sports and this is something that just involves me, and I know I can accomplish anything with work and dedication. Plus, its always good to be on the stronger side.
Build Muscle and Increase strength while getting and maintaining body fat below 10%
Goal (Long):
I want to gain a very noticeable amount of muscle while getting much stronger. Also, one of my goals is to get my body fat to less 10% and keep it that way. Getting a real six pack is another goal. Although i don't have a specific measurement of how big i want to be, i know that im not near being satisfied with the way my body is, even though it is quite muscular especially for my age. I know that after approximately 4 months i will be able to see great improvement if i stick to my workouts.
Since you've been working out, taking supplements and eating right, how often do you get sick (cold, flu, etc.)?
Rarely

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
It depends on the bodypart. For bi's and tri's ill do 8-12 reps. For chest ill do 4-6 or 6-8 depending on the workout.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
Usually a minute, unless im doing a strength workout where ill rest for 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I feel that this give the muscles time to recover but doesn't give the pump time to go away
Hey this is my first post. I usually record my workouts on my workout tracker but recently i haven't. It's not because i have stopped working out its because i have been away for the past 2-3 weeks so ive been at the gyms at the hotels and haven't gotten a chance to record my workouts. But...

Good luck with your goals, you are getting a great start at a young age. I didn't start lifting until I was 19, but wish I had started earlier. You are well on your way to huge gains!
that would be perfect man!
you will see great gains with that. And downing some ISOFlex when you are done will make it even better!
look on youtube for how to videos on deadlifting and squating for sure. If done wrong you can realllly get hurt. So start light and perfect the form. That way you will get much more muscle recruitment and less injury!
a 5x5 is a great way to start. you will see good size gains and great strength gains as it is a strength training routine. A big muscle is a srong muscle
the deadlift is one of the best exercises. It works every muscle in your body. If you watch some youtube vids on deadlifting. When you come up pull your shoulders back and squeeze your upper back. It gives you that nice big thick look. Also strengthens the lower back. and traps big time. Look at guys like Johnnie Jackson, Branch Warren, and Ronnie Coleman, they have some of the biggest traps thanks to dead lifting.
my training is kind of advanced, so I wouldnt reccomend it for someone who is new to this.
for a great back stick to barbell rows, pullups (weighted if possible) and deadlifts(learn good form on these now! you will see huge strength increases and size gains)
look into a 5x5 strength training routine, i think youd love it
you still diggin the allmax protein?!
White bread/rice/sugars
so take your shake mixed in some Orange Juice. and then about an 45 mins to an hour later have a meal with 25g of protein and some more carbs like potatoes/yams and rice
that would be real good with orange juice! like a cream-cicle!
try different things there are a lot of good recipes with protein powder
allmax has a lot on their website
allmaxnutrition.com
yea not clumpy at all!
i havent tried this little "recipe" with vanilla before
but put a scoop in a little bowl and a tiny bit of water, and stir unitl it is like pudding. and let it sit in the fridge. I do that with a lot of the powders i have just to have a good snack other than a shake
nice dude
let me know how you like it
what flavor did you get?
I am a representative for Allmax
maybe someday when i start competing i could get a sponsorship but who knows haha
no
its just a protein supplement. Just fit it into your daily macros of your diet.
you cant OD on aminos. Anything in excess your body will just waste out
