I know exactly where Clocktower is! I used to finish a mountain bike ride thru Mine's Falls in it's parking lot. Nice places, I hear. Workouts are going great. I'm 6 wks into having my new gym and I've totally adapted to it. I've started a 4 wk. program that plays with rep speed as a way to shock the muscles. Biz is good, too.

PH, I don't count calories. Really don't know what I'm getting on average. I eat mostly the same thing everyday, so tweaking my intake to add or subtract a few hundred calories is easy. So, I might suggest you play around with your intake until you feel your intake is about the same as what your burning off. I don't pay attention to my ratios either. Just always try to mix protein, fats, and carbs at most (every) "meal". Mike
I use calipers and do a 7 point skin fold test. I notice many other folks on her show lower bf yet look fatter, so they must be using another method. At 212 lbs and 18% body fat, if you wanted to loose 21 lbs you would be down to 8% body fat. I suspect you could loose more than this and still be over 8%. But it doesn't matter as long as your numbers are decreasing. good luck.
I am around 15-16% bodyfat in those pics at 191 lbs and 34.5 inch waist. I am still carying fat all over but especially in my lovehandles, lower belly and back. I want to get down to 10% by July.
Progress is going awesome. Almost got a full inch on my arms last month but i lost fat all over my body. But my arms are a lot more defined and got a better peak on them now. Slowly but surely im getting there. I now its not going to be over night for me to have what i want so i just got to remember that and train hard.
Thanks for the comment on the blog. Yeah, that trainer knows his stuff and is cool as hell. He fits me in when he has time between clients. I also do some MMA training with him as well. It sucks sparring with him because he kicks my ass and punches me in the head a lot. -kenji
How frustrating, I hope he decides to start working out. I was showing my mom lifts and I kept getting the "Oh okay...." in the "Yeah right I'm not doing that tone!" Good luck with your workout today. I meet my trainer and I get a new arm workout, I can't wait!
