Background

When I Started: Jan 2006
HOW I STARTED:

I have been playing rugby union for a few years now and have decided to bulk up a little to make myself a stronger player. I am really enjoying pumping iron now that I find myself at the gym more than on the rugby field.

WHY I LOVE IT:

The feeling of accomplishment when you finish, and the extra attention from the ladies.

vetjohnb hey mate. going good here. it's nearly the end of week 3 training here. just doing weights with twists added that give a really good burn. doing it alone. am getting some results. from week 4, i'm gonna start a proper workout schedual. any tips? what's yours like? Jul 15, 2008 6:49am

vetjohnb hey mate. that'll b gr8 2 help each other out. if u've got msn, add me on johnb_vet@hotmail.com. i'm just starting out with workingout. currently i do at least 30mins running daily, weights every 2/3rd day until 3wks down da track. getting my body use 2 it. consuming 200-240gms of protein and 5-6 meals a day. u?
