Like everyone else I got started by watching everyone else. One of my closest freinds is a Pro Natural Bodybuilder in about 4-5 organizations. After watching him compete on all national levels naturally, and succeed to the highest, I decided to take it upon myself to try the same.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding brought a lot of new things to my life. The thrill of competeing is great! The energy between competitors is exciting. I get more and more pumped every time. Also being able to travel nation wide is quite an experience. It has taken me places I've never been before. The other thing about bodybuilding that I love is that every day your finding more and more out about your body. And that is what allows you to only get better and better!
How I Stay Motivated:
One of the things that keeps me motivated is that everyday you can look better. So one day at a time is how I look at it. I also stay motivated by thinking of what my other competitors are doing and not doing. They may not be walking the treadmill for 45 minutes at 1 a.m. but I am. They maybe pushing that last hard rep, but I'm pushing the last hard 2 reps.
BB Accomplishments:
I would have to say one of my most major accomplishments have been my latest condition. In my last three shows I have come dialed in more in shape than I had for my first three. My second most major accomplishment has to be one of my most recent shows I placed 2nd in my class of 5. The show was non-tested. My third most favorite accomplishment is my trip to Virginia Beach to compete in the NPA. My lightweight class was full with 8 guys and it was 165lbs. & under, and that morning I weighed in at a steady 139lbs. I took 4th only missing third place by one point.
