Got my first barbell set for a Christmas gift. That was it. Obviously I haven't worked out faithfully since 86, but thats just when it came into my life. I've had more lay offs than commitment.
Why I Love It:
Love making my body change for the better.
The soreness after a hard workout,the pump,the burn,all of it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I guess as I have gotten older my goals have changed a bit, but I have always stayed motivated by the mirror and reading other peoples stories.Being in better shape than my nephews who are in high school is also pretty nice.
BB Accomplishments:
My only accomplishment would be I guess that I have never let it get away from me for to long at a time. I plan on eating as I have been for quite a while along with my weight training, God willing.

Goal (Long):
Putting on the extra weight for summer 08.Want to lean out prior to summer to get my body fat back into single digits again. I've put on about 15 pounds in the past 9 months. Body fat gone up 2% to 3%, BF is currently 12-13% and I hate being this smooth.I guess the next part of my goal will be my cutting cycle without to much muscle loss.
Same as with my biceps on back day, I always did tris on my chest day. I still do it this way for an 8 week period then go another 8 weeks of an isolated arm day(bis/tris).Either way its once a week.

What bicep workout has worked best for you?
Have done biceps with back for most of my life. Recently (8 weeks ago) started an 8 week routine with an isolated arm day(bis/tris), really like being able to focus on those smaller muscles. I'm hitting them hard once a week. Every 8 weeks I switch my routine back and forth. Have done biceps with back for most of my life. Oh the kids are gonna loooove it! So are you! Haven't been there in so long though, it's changed a lot. Well you guys have a wonderful time, enjoy the rides. :)
