Oxon Hill High Attended 1999 to 2003 Oxon Hill, Maryland United States
When I Started:
Mar, 2003
How I Started:
I had scoliosis as a youngster and surgery at age 15. I started working out when I was 18, weighing 142lbs. Worked out on and off in college and graduated in 2007 at 160 lbs. Started serious with a diet in May 2008 and haven't looked back.
Why I Love It:
The energy, the gains, the progress.
How I Stay Motivated:
The gains on the scale, constant comments from friends and family. Women look at me differently now, too, LOL.
Gotta get my weight back. This time I want to go to 210 lbs.
Goal (Long):
The stress of first-year teaching and graduate school allowed me to fall off the wagon. I know what it took to be 200 lbs the first time around, so now I just have to make time and put in work.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 50 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
8%

Man, teaching is that intense?
You know now that I think about it, I probably would crack up at a teacher drinking shakes throughout the day. Yet think nothing of the coffee they're drinking.
Then again, its not like you won't figure it out.
Man, I can imagine. Teaching is no joke. Glad you're using this two weeks to hammer yourself into the ground and reengrain the training life. LOL ...
I've been back into the swing of things. Training and nutrition has been good so I don't think I can gripe about much.
Whats your weight down to now?
Keeping it clean today. Just got back in from the gym...gonna relax and cook and nice clean high protein dinner...lol. Hope you're having a good holiday weekend big dawg.
You know, I'm always thought about teaching high school science and the like. I still do at times but haven't gotten around to take Georgia's Cert yet. You enjoying that?
Training is alive even though its not as twice a day as it used to be thanks to the heat. I am in the middle of coming up with something that I think would work for everyone but eh, I'm still crafting it out.
What's good Joshua! Congrats on meeting your goal and maintaining. I am in your cheering corner! As for me, I am stuck at 180, but I have not given up, I still want 200 lbs, but clean like you man. One.
It will probably thin out a little bit after the "New Year's Resolution" crowd loses motivation. It's always crowded here with military pers., some retirees and a lot of family members.
