When I Started:
Mar, 1996
How I Started:
I quit smoking last November after almost 10 years. My son was growing older and I came to the realization that I could extend my life simply by being healthy (go figure). I started working out at home last September and joined a gym the following march.
Why I Love It:
I love the effect on my confidence, my looks and the general feeling of wellbeing. I love the outdoors and I bike and hike as often as I can.
How I Stay Motivated:
BB Accomplishments:
Gain lean muscle while staying flexible. I plan on resuming my quest for a black belt in Tang so do which I abandoned 8 years ago. I'm at 160lbs, my target weight is 190, a long way off but attainable.

Oh noooo! Are you really up for a Bunionectomy?! The 8 wks following was not "WALK" in the park {lol} 'Bunionectomied' a clinical term? Not sure..actually doubtful. BUT, it does get the point across nonetheless. Anyway, hope U were kidding. I hope all can AVOID this sometimes inevitable procedure. :-)
Ok Mike, I graciously accept your accolades. BUT, a struggle is a struggle. And to overcome ANY struggle should not go unrecognized and NEVER be discounted or minimalized. So, again, Congrats to ya'. And may we BOTH continue to excel. *smile*
