It was a calling, and an understanding of my journey and all that it entails. A warriors spirit and a desire to continue to set myself apart from the average individual.
To maintain my condition, competitive edge and to continue competing as a national level bodybuilder.
Why I Love It:
The personal challenges that are brought forth. The joy in knowing I am the generator of all that is...not to mention it makes me look good!
How I Stay Motivated:
Courage is facing your fear and still stepping forward, Our journey begins with our choice to seek-out more for ourselves. And The whisperings cries of the universe direct us into new directions.
Discoveries and the new possibilities that manifest are for our growth
and futures.Following our inspirations, we shall encounter many challenges to wit we shall overcome there are obvious lessons and learn from them. Acknowledging this we will return the wiser and stalwart, since no experience is wasted. Our being guided along this journey avails the courage to face whatever calling lay ahead.
you now embark warrior spirit upon your greatest adventure.... to become your best self.
Knowing that in less then a years time I shall be back on the National stage is motivating..knowing how close I came to getting my IFBB Pro Card! Not once though twice Is there anything more motivating currently?? Hell this is better then sex!! Not really though close..keep your dreams alive stay drama free!!!
BB Accomplishments:
Placed fifth in the 1999 Ironman light heavy weight, second in the 2000 Northern Gold's Classic light heavy weight and first, and over all-masters champion 2001 Emerald Cup. A second place out of twenty other competitors in the Masters division Emerald Cup 2003. Came back to take first and once again overall in the Masters Men 2004 Emerald cup.[qualified for the Nationals]
At Nationals third place in the light heavy weight Masters men over 40 at the IFBB North American Championships. And in 2007 Emerald Cup took second place heavy weight Masters men over 40. Finally re-qualifying in 2008 for the Nationals at this years Emerald Cup heavy weight Masters men over 40 first and over-all. And this year took a third at the IFBB North American Championships Masters Men over 40 heavy weight. I allowed B.S. to distract me and wasted a great deal of time. Though i'm refocused and rid myself of the B.S. thank goodness!! and i'm ready to rock this year in my training for 09...bigger and better be on the look out!! Well August into September and this years Nationals IFBB North American Championships I failed myself. No excuses I ranked 9th out of 11 Masters over 40 Heavy weight. Probably no...my worst showing. Lesson well learn and if first you don't succeed....lets see what 2010 brings.
Whats next good question and I'm giving this some thought. Business is increasing almost daily which makes things a bit more challenging. Though body-building will always resonate with me. Soon I will have an answer, feeling good and confident.

We've almost come full circle so to speak. The beauty and warmth of spring into summer. The rise of fall trailing in the winters chill. This time of year is a time for reflection. Not to be bothered by the constant grey chill, or icy roads. The rush to bring in the holiday spirit, truly a time...
