I just found out I'm pregnant with my 5th baby...for now my goal is to maintain muscle and to put on only necessary fat for a healthy baby.
Goal (Long):
I used to be fit and dedicated to health and fitness, however this tailed off about 10 years ago and I became more dedicated to the party lifestyle...too much beer, too much junk food and too much time spent sedentary.
I first fell pregnant in 2002 and now have 4 beautiful children.
This has taken me even further away from my ideal body...my life is stressful and hectic and very busy.
I've found myself 15kg above my ideal weight and very unhappy with my body.
Although my husband is supportive of me starting this journey, he could be seen as a sabateur as he still likes the beers etc! That's why I would love to find friends who can support and motivate me!
I'm planning to clean up my diet, drink lots more water, and start on a kick a** exercise plan.
I want to transform my body so I can be proud of it and my achievements.
Ideally I want to achieve this by Australian summer so I can have the confidence to go to the beach with my children : - )
This member inspires me because she is a mature woman and admits that eating clean and working out does not come naturally - I love her honesty and makes me feel like I get results too!
This transformation is amazing! She is so real that it gave me such a slap in the face for making excuses!! This is one mama that I really look up to!!
congratulations!!i continued training up to the day i gave birth!!!obviously didnt increase my weights, but maintained, but i did keep up my cardio, even did a few aerobic classes!!!you will be fine.good luck.xxx

OMG thats is wondeful news, congratulations! I'm so proud of you for making plans to continue to workout throughout your pregnancy thats wonderful. Well dont get lost and keep me updated as to how your pregnancy is going. Take care!
Wow!! congrats on the baby news~ the main thing to keep in mind is that you'll be tired so when modifying workouts keep lifting your top priority...also as you belly grows, be safe about your balance and grip. AND no matter what don't let "fitness guilt" ruin your pregnancy!! You can return/regain to fitness AFTER!
Thanks for showing me love.
I know what you mean about supportive.
I have a friend I use to work out with.

Hey there..I'm getting sick!! Ugh! Other than that things are ok. I got the Opti-Women multivitamin yesterday since I didnt have a multi; i hear good things about it so lets see. You got the P90x?! Cool! I've thought about getting it but just havent gotten around to it. Is everything done at home? What do you need as far as equipment? Hope you and the family are doing well. Talk 2 u soon!
Hey there - just saw your comment - I was out of town. DON'T WORRY about being 36% bf. It CAN be done - my avitar pic was taken only 12 weeks after I began my transformation. I started working out 5 times per week and NEVER cheated on the diet. Each meal would be a lean protein, good carb and minimal fat. Consistency is key, though - let me know if you need any help!
