I started to go to the gym to lose weight I was doing plenty of cardio but no results. I employed a personal trainers x 2 week for 1hr and really started to see some improvement.
Why I Love It:
Even though you may not see results in the mirror there is no mistaking the numbers on the weights. I love to look strong and love to push my body as far as it will go.
How I Stay Motivated:
The progress with my lifting and the way my body feels and looks. Looking at all the fantastic bodies on this site! In the future it will be looking back at my progress pics.

This was taken on a family holiday. I was doing cardio, eating too much and never lifted anything other than my kids
still lifting heavy and lots of squats etc...loving my shoulder workouts
All week I have been feeling a little down about my workouts, a bit down about eating consistently, a bit down about Winter and a cold, empty gym in the mornings, a bit down about having to be so consistent with my clean eating - all the time, a bit down about muscle seemingly so hard to come by,...
Oh yea getting really excited, feel pressed for time though! Still gotta decorate my one piece and finish my 2 piece bottoms! Not enough time in the day! Take care.
I completely understand! I love to play basketball myself, but had to give it up 2 years ago, because it wasn't allowing me a good leg day because of knee and ankle soreness!
Actually the sports and "bodybuilding" training go hand-in-hand. My ambitions are to be fit and not "huge", but that may change in the future. I am assuming you don't play any sports then?

Thanks so much Clare. Well he's starting to feel a pain in his thighs now, they said that's his nerves waking up so that's a good sign. We are gonna go to Walmart so he can walk around. Its raining here, so I'll ride the lil cart thing til his legs give out. ttyl.

Hiya Clare. Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself in Thailand. So are you feeling better these days? What was the culprit of the food poisoning? Gotten back to training yet?
