I started to go to the gym to lose weight I was doing plenty of cardio but no results. I employed a personal trainers x 2 week for 1hr and really started to see some improvement.
Why I Love It:
Even though you may not see results in the mirror there is no mistaking the numbers on the weights. I love to look strong and love to push my body as far as it will go.
How I Stay Motivated:
The progress with my lifting and the way my body feels and looks. Looking at all the fantastic bodies on this site! In the future it will be looking back at my progress pics.

It may be safer here as facebook can be a very dodgy place: many people are complaining they they get evicted and their pages closed. That happened to me. I also have a myspace page as well.

i've bene doing good, ate some not so healthy stuff for valentines day but other than that still staying movitated and doing well, i am hard on myself but really started around new years and was 223, so i lost 7 lbs. if i lose 7 lbs each month and a half for 3 more "cycles" i'd be down to 195 by the summer which works for me!!! can't wait to see your pics! dave
i have slacked the last week or so and made it to the gym less, then i got sick today which threw me a curve. The thing I notice is that when you really go all out and are breathing heavy I see the best results soonest. So for legs i would do your normal running, jogging and then add intervals of hardcore sprinting for 30 sec-1min. But judging by those abs, you know what you are doing!
thanx for reading my blogs, I try to write one every so often and keep the pics coming, the goal is to weigh 20 by March 7th which is doable but tough and I am sick today so no gym... but not much food either
ah...are you kidding me...I started working 10 hour days in July at my job and let it be an excuse. I coasted through the holidays and ate whatever I wanted. My best friend who's like a sister to me is also a trainer. She looked at me and said.."enough" lol. So I'm back to working out. I feel so much better when I get a workout in.
