My starting point! After my first two months
Well, this is where it starts! Not much to say here other than I need to do a lot of work!
Two months down, maybe 22 more to go? This doesn't exactly look like the "After" pictures in the BFL book, but I can see some progress, and my clothes are fitting quite a bit looser, so there is progress here!

I want to look respectable for my vacation in Cancun in January 2009.
Goal (Long):
I've been overweight for years. I finally decided to get serious about fitness. Right now, my goal is to get myself presentable for a vacation in Cancun next January. I'm not unrealistic about what can be gained by then, but I know tremendous improvements are possible. I started my program on June 9, 2008. My ultimate goal is to have a "good body" by June 9, 2009.

How is it going at your end brother. I read you were having shoulder issues and seeking other opin. Just keep eating clean and keep up with the cardio. When I lost my weight in the 1st year I too hurt my shoulder but kept up with the cardio, abs, legs for over a month until I could use the shoulder with light weights.

take a look at the comments re stopping lifting: these guys/gals have some wisdom going... and rapid weight loss can leave you a little 'baggy', whereas lifting can firm up 'all you are', turning it slowly into muscle. Just a thought, from a guy with a belly. Stay strong.

Wanting to lose weight and then finding the right program to follow to make it happen is difficult. I recommend the 12-week Body for Life program. I was able to lose over 50 lb’s, going from 36 to 10% bodyfat and my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 also in only 12 weeks. You may be amazed at the changes your body will make and how soon they occur. Let us know if you wish more info.
