When I Started:
Apr, 2007
How I Started:
Two years ago I could not do five consecutive push-ups.(Now I can) I could not even hang from a chinning bar for longer than five seconds, so a chin-up was out of the question.(Now I can) I was almost 215 lbs of 24% B.F. My blood pressure was 170/95 and cholesterol was 210. It was time to do something after almost seven years of sedentary existence...(So, I did!)

After 24 months; bp 125/75, cholesterol 128. Wt. 173 BF%9.5-11
Why I Love It:
My best hour+/- of the day is when I'm exercising. All aches and pains subside for that all too brief period of the day.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the gains in strength and loss of fat. It feels great to be able to do everyday tasks more efficiently. I am also motivated by seeing the progress and success of others.
BB Accomplishments:
Planning to enter a BB contest someday. Shooting for Sept OCB at Indy...

Ok, nutrition experts, here's one for you. Bud Light lists 110 calories per can. 6.6 g. of carb and 0.9 g. of protein. 0 fat. By my calculation, carbs and protein X 4 cal. per g. only comes to 30 accounted for calories. Where does the other 80 unaccounted for calories come from?

Chris -- impressive progress in a month! Way to go. Some of the pics were hard to see. Maybe you used too much pro tan! lol. Were you taking these with a tripod? How about having the sun behind the camera next time? And where are you competing in 12 weeks?

I used to play in a band Chris and I was a professional boxer for a while. I've been in front of crowds approaching 10,000 people. I just imagine though that I'm in my living room going through my routine. piece of cake. LOL!!

No I think alcohol is in a category on its own. This is what I found: With 7 calories per gram, the number of calories in alcohol is second only after fat (9 cals/g). The calories in alcohol are metabolised first by the body, ahead of burning fat - which is not desirable if on a weight loss diet.

Chris you seriously look fantastic!! No kidding! The only thing I might caution you on is you are pretty lean for 12 weeks to go. Be careful you don't get too lean and lose to much size. Maybe add a little more carbs for a while. You look great though.
