This was the biggest show that NGA has had in Utah--73 competitors. I was in two classes--Novice light-weight against 11 other young bucks, and Masters (over 40) against 6 guys in their 40s. My big moment was the evening's posing routine. The audience was very supportive of a grandpa up there flexing. The show was done very professionally. |

I am honored to be included as #144 of the Over-40 Amateurs. I have been motivated for years by looking at the previous winners. I hope my pics and bio will do the same for others, especially for those that might think they are too old to look fit. |

ABA/INBA has a class called "ultra masters" for those 60-69 years old. The show was small, but I had a great time. It was a good reward for the 2 months of "abnormal" workouts and nutrition. I'd have never believed that posing would have taken so much time and energy. I spent 2-3 hours every day for 2 weeks in posing trunks in front of a mirror trying to get the muscles flexed on cue. |
