When I Started:

How I Started:
Took a long hard look at myself approaching 40. Didn't like what I saw and the direction I was headed health-wise. Wanted to make some major changes in my physical and mental wellbeing.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me look and feel. I have personal goals away from family and work. It's one of the things I do for ME and me only. If I succeed, It's my hard work that made it happen...If I fail, only I am to blame.
How I Stay Motivated:
The scale and pictures of myself when I was in the Army 20 years ago ;)
I'm don't consider myself vane, matter of fact I'm my hardest critic, so when I see results it motivates me to strive for excellence.
BB Accomplishments:
My first goal was to loose weight. 5'7" and 210 lbs. was just too much for me. I'm down to 170 now and feeling better every day.
Saw an ad online called The Truth About Building Muscle by Sean Nalewanyj. The program looked good so I bought into it. And I'm so glad I did! I dedicated myself and not only dropped 40 pounds of fat, but I feel much better and I'm not embarrassed to take my shirt off around others. This is a big deal for me.
