I cannot lie. I originally started working out because I wanted to impress women. But once I started, I fell in love with going to the gym, watching what I eat, gaining strength and size.
Why I Love It:
I feel so much better physically and mentally. Not to mention the fact that I want to be as healthy and live as long as I can so I can spend as much time as possible with my family.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am motivated to get healthy by my daughter and family. I am motivated to workout hard by seeing other physiques and thinking about the shape I was in a few years ago.
I need to keep a strict diet, keep going to the gym, and get the body back that I had 4 years ago.
Goal (Long):
I was hardcore into lifting about 4 years ago. I had good strength and was fit at about 203 lbs. Then I got married, had a child, bought a house, etc. and stopped working out, stopped dieting and gained about 50 lbs. I am now getting back into the game and have been back at the gym for the last 1 1/2 months. I've already dropped about 15 lbs and am back on a good training regimen. I am working hard to get back to where I was.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 40 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
12%

I was just not feeling it today. I did some shoulder presses, cable shoulder work, front db raises and lateral db raises. No cardio. I was just tired and ready to get out of there for some reason. :( :( :(
sup?! thanks for the add. best of luck with your training. i'm finally gonna try to get back into lifting again. been dealing with the tendinitis in my wrist.
