well no secrets really, but eventually i'll post up my shoulder exercise that i do. (its just one of the many) that really gets ya a good burn and hits the traps pretty good as well. the best advice that i can give you is that to never give up!! train almost daily, and always go your hardest. i also always train till failure. i dont even count anymore, try it out, you'll probably see a giant burst in strength. every set go to failure
