How I Started:
I first started working out in Middle School in Gym class. I played football through college, and lifted 3-6 days a week depending on the time of year. Once I was done with football i was just tired of going to the gym.
Why I Love It:
I used to hate the pain, but now I'm finding that I love it, and that if I'm hurting (in a good way) I feel alive and that I'm working towards my goals.
How I Stay Motivated:
This site really helps with motivation and my buddy and I went to our first Bodybuiding show in Vancouver. Very inspiring.
Well, took a break, had some injury issues after running the 5k. Apparently a 300+ guy should worry about shin splints when running. I'm not completely over it, but I really need to get back into the swing of things and started today off with a shorter workout. I think I'll continue with...

YOSH! Rub some dirt on those shins and lets get some weight loss updates. You are still on a good pace to get down to your goal next year. Besides we both need to lose a little extra so we can meet at the DQ in August when Im there. Does your cousin Malik have a body space page?

Just had my 1st protein shake....TASTY STUFF! I was surprised by how small the shake is....but hey, that makes it that much easier to take right after a workout!

i know the 5k hurt your shins....BUT get on the efx (precor) or in the pool...come on bro!!!! get motivated again..ill be up in eug on the 23rd till jul 6th ...you have a workout partner for those days...check out if i can get a two week trial pass? but start now!!! call me if you want some advice about shinsplints.!!
