The last time I touched a barbell was back in January 2007. Ever since then I just got lazy, playing video games and web surfing. I seen my weight going up and I decided it's time to start working out again. Just this past Monday I got myself a new treadmill and began using it before lifting. I'm starting to get the old motivation back, looking forward to the next workout.
Thanks Nota. It's been a tough battle, but im glad that im breaking new barriers with-in the last month. If you would like to achieve your fitness goals possibly sooner than you thought I recommend you look into the 12 week Body for Life program. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 Lbs going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. You will need to challenge yourself to achieve great results but I believe they will be well worth the effort. Let us know if you would like more info.
Stick with it, be consistent and learn nutrition. You will reach your goals if you do this. Do not hesitate to ask questions on the forums, most the over 35 group are really friendly and are there to help you out.
