To get up to 199 lbs with bodyfat not being a concern...yet. Eat as much as I can as that is what held me back in the past
Goal (Long):
To get up to 200lbs at 10% bodyfat. I want good full lats to give me that good taper. Build up shoulders as it is throwing off my physique that i have in mind.
Well i am here in Okinowa inbetween training events and am tryin to hit the gym hard. Sad because i only have like 3 weeks then i go to Fuji then 2 week off then almost 2 months in Thailand...Have to make the most of the time!
Matt, I was in the same boat as you in college. I ran any surplus calories off and was very lean but no mass. You are really looking great and your chest and arms are showing some great gains. If I were you I would stop running and rest 2min. between sets. If you keep your calorie intake up you will see some big gains. Your BF% will go up but you can cut that later. Good luck and keep me updated.
Just loading calories calories and more calories my calorie count for today was almost 3100. I work out 5 days a week about 45 minutes to a hour a day. I have seen great changes. It was nice finding your profile because there isn't many people that are as tall as us and are not big naturally. Meaning I pick up a magizine and want to look like some of the guys but I know that their only 5'5" hahaha.... How is the MEU honestly I'll trade you... 31st MEU for 1/9 in Iraq... in a heart beat
Whats up bro I searched for ppl that were in the same build as me and I think you have a pretty close build... the funny thing is that your a Marine also... What did you do to pack on so many pounds?
Oh, and atm I'm probably having around 2200-2500. My nutrition is pretty awful compared to what I could be doing. Weighed myself recently and I was about 64kg, I used to be 56. Anyways, just a few more weeks and I get back on track!

I was taking about 3k. Unfortunately my priority at the moment is to get University out of the way until I break up in May. After which I'm getting back to my bulking for about 4 months.
found i'm around 20% bodyfat, so that 200lbs i'm gunning for is attainable but won't be pretty. i may have to back my goal to 190ish. we'll have to see how well i can finesse the next few months lifts and diet. you still have to hit 199.
protein bong, good stuff man. i'm not real concerned about bf% now either, and eating a ton has gotten me over sticking points in the past as well. you'll hit 199 no problem.
Hey! Ok, so I discovered today that I can actually do those pull-ups where my hands are close together and wrapped around the bar facing me. What will help me do the wide-grip ones??? Or are those the ones you were saying the push-ups would help?? Thanks!!
Thanks so much for the advice! I've tried doing negatives...my back always hurts for awhile after haha. One (of the 2) gyms I go to has an assist machine, but I need quite a bit of assistance. Does that machine really help me to improve on MY OWN though?? Also, I'm glad pushups help. In Jan I could hardly do one...now I can do lots!! Anyways, thanks for your help!
