How it makes me feel/look/think/act... How it gives me purpose, sense of accomplishment, desire for perfection... How it makes it okay to be narcissistic... How it not only affects you, but everyone around you....
How I Stay Motivated:
Everytime I do cardio I picture myself on stage. Everytime I lift I imagine myself getting stronger. Everytime I open the fridge I think about how I want to feel. Constantly striving for perfection is the best motivation. But learning not to beat yourself up for not already being perfect is key. My heroes... the women who's picture I stare at when I do cardio, who ride along with me in my car, who look at me in the mirror every mornin... Jenny Lynn, Valerie Waugaman, Gina Aliotti, Sonia Adcock, Monica Brant, and of course my trainer... Kristi Tauti!

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Running outside and running stairs

What is your cardio exercise plan?
On season: 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours (7 days per week)
Off season: 45 min to 1 1/2 hours (5-7 days per week)

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
3 sets, 8-12 reps. Currently building muscle. (Exception of legs which are always high rep, light weight)

It is currently one week after my last Figure Competition and i'm hovering in the limbo between on and off season. I'm warily making the transition from a life consisting purely of gym walls, broiled fish and pull-up after push-up, to.... well I'm not quite sure what's it supposed to consist...

you should try all organizations and have fun competing, don't let anyone stop you because of their's. Why not hit one more since you are doing two, its great experience and fun. There is a great starter one this Aug 9th in Arlington!!!!!!
