Sep, 2002
How I Started:
I got started as a way to improve for baseball. However I have always been fascinated with people who are extremely fit. I remember walking into vitamin shops with my father and seeing pictures of Arnold and other bodybuilders and I would just stare in awe.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it is a quest for perfection and we as humans are naturally seeking perfection everyday (whether it be in bodybuilding or anything else one takes interest in). I love the feeling from getting a pump; there is nothing else like it. Bodybuilding to me is also the ultimate test of one's own strength and endurance; their dedication to something far greater than themselves and it baffles me why more people don't challenge themselves like we do.
How I Stay Motivated:
Staying motivated is hard especially when you're a fairly hardgainer like me who has been through so many ups and downs with my progress. But once you get back into the swing of things and seeing the results and getting ever closer to your goals, that is what keeps me motivated.

Goal (Long):
I want to return bodybuilding back to an art form. One that the outside world can come to appreciate instead of always tearing it down. An appreciation for aesthetics will keep the sport growing strong for quite some time. As I attempt to accomplish this, it goes along with my goal of receiving an IFBB pro card.
One thing I really love about fitness and bodybuilding especially is that awesome feeling of when you get into a groove with your training. You are getting good pumps each session and you look and feel jacked in the mirror. It's very self-satisfying and helps keep me motivated for...
Hey! I see you added some pictures and it looks like people like what they see. That's no suprise though... Lets make it a goal of ours to get some recent pictures posted by spring break. (Maybe that'll get my unmotivated self back in the gym...)
