When I Started:
2007
How I Started:
I started gaining quite a bit of weight a few years ago, and I came across the Body for Life book. I saw the progress photos, and figured I wanted to change and had nothing to lose.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing changes and pushing my body to the extreme. Sometimes I dread doing it, but after I'm done, there is a definite rush.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't know if it's just in my head, but if I take time off working out, or get in a rut, I start feeling tired and I get really lazy...then I just eat and sleep.
I used to think I trained hard, until I read her blogs...I wasn't even close. Her dedication is contagious, and it makes me push myself that much more.
The progress he has made over a short period of time is absolutely amazing! He is great with motivating many others in achieving their goals...simply put, the guy rocks!!
Taking it careful after messing up my shoulder for a while. Just about to go into a strength phase. Want to bulk a bit - but always afraid of fat! Trying to pay more attention to my diet too.
Not really. I do sprints using the Tabata Protocol only three days per week. Other than that I don't do any crossfit training. I'm trying to get lean and large, and getting back into has been a chore, but fun no less. Love the pain/burn...let's me know I'm alive.
Hey bro--geez, I'm honored to be considered an inspiration. I have to say that you are a picture of dedication and commitment--literally--chisele d into your awesome physique. Thanks.
Thanks man. Def. appreciate it. But those stats are from last year when I was lifting everyday like a beast and doing sprints (Tabata) every other day. Since then I was injured, then had to have surgery in April for kidney stones (sucked) and have been slowly getting back up to 205lbs. I'm at 192 right now. BF is still low though. Nowhere near you though.
I am just hell sunburnt and it's a nice shade of watermelon red :( Talkin about pizza, had an awesome feast and check out my journal for the food porn pic. Had dessert pizza (icecream topping, choclate and rasberry sauce just to finish it off). Let's not mention abs this week lol!
Hey bro, plan to start cutting after T-day so I can look more like you! Hahaha. You look great; like those tight abs you've achieved. Really awesome delts. All the best!
