  • You'd love the triathlon down here in Key West that we have every winter! I'm actually thinking of trying it this year. The swimming is where I need work!

NoBell 47 mi bike ride sat..legs were trahshed. Sun run cut short. Great 1hr 30min active recovery session this AM. MAKE 2DAY > YESTERDAY!!!

  • Speed work on the treadmill ain't too bad. You can really hit your splits consistently, not too mention the time goes by faster.

  • JR - due to my travel schedule, hopping on the treadmill for speed work is the highest quality training approach - more of a controlled environments(like you said) which I like. When I'm home, because I know my area, I'm more apt to do these outdoors. Tomorrow will be a KEY session for me - swim and bike on slightly fatigued legs - see how we get on with it.

funsize3 howdy! ironman prep? lol, i have a sprint tri in june :P i am preparing myself mentally with little challenges first since that is nooooo joke. i've picked up 'total immersion' which is a great book on swimming, i had a lot of anxiety in the beginning but i think you may benefit from it as well; not just for beginners but to improve stroke, etc. :) May 3, 2013 2:14pm

4everbooty My daughter competes - acro,jazz,ballet,lyrical,contemporary,hip hop and tap. I luv dancing but its her turn now. Im just the ATM and Chauffeur...lol. I was doing adult jazz and hip hop but no time for me to continue. Love watching her on stage. Have a good nite ;) Apr 29, 2013 2:23pm
